Flower Fields
Flower Fields, established in 1992, is the name of my flower farm design studio, currently located in the 19th-century horse barn on my property. Flower Fields started as a field of wildflowers and evolved with my knowledge of agriculture production. Wherever I moved, Flower Fields moved with me, and now I am able to grow my favorite annuals and perennials in any kind of land and soil.
Flower Fields is my creative outlet. It comes second nature to me, as I watched my mother grow flowers, and over the years learned the innate power of a beautifully crafted bouquet, grown, picked, and arranged with caring hands.
Every year I grow some of my favorite varietals while introducing new colors and shapes to my palette. My philosophy toward growing is to maintain sustainability, so my design shop will always have dried flowers hanging from the ceiling, ready to be used in the winter months for wreaths, garlands, and kissing balls.
The shop is open for guests to purchase a bouquet, a wreath, or just to stop by and say hello. Throughout the year I will share elements of my creative process via my YouTube channel, and offer a handful of classes and workshops through various organizations or demonstrated at private homes.
